Accounting software for landscaping

Accounting for a landscaping business, inside the CRM.

The jobs, the invoices and the books live in one app, so nobody re-keys a payment into QuickBooks. From Growth, LawnLedger keeps real double-entry books: bank feeds, reconciliation, month-end close and the statements your accountant asks for. If you would rather keep QuickBooks, it syncs both ways instead.

Keep QuickBooks instead

  • Two-way sync of 11 record types, on a schedule you set, from Growth.
  • Pick one: QuickBooks or LawnLedger Books keeps the ledger, never both, so the numbers have one home.
  • QuickBooks Online Plus is $140 a month on its own (Intuit's list price, 3 September 2026). Growth is $149 with the CRM and the books together.

Want someone to do the books?

  • Managed Bookkeeping is an add-on at $299 a month: a bookkeeper works in your LawnLedger Books.
  • Your accountant can work from the year-end package, or from exports of the journal, ledger and statements.

What it does not do, so you know before you start

It does not run payroll: time exports to Gusto, ADP RUN, Paychex Flex or QuickBooks Payroll, split into regular, overtime and double time. It does not pay vendors by bank transfer, file 1099s or depreciate fixed assets. If you need those inside the same tool this year, plan for a second one.

The books start on Growth ($149/mo), the plan every trial runs on. More: Invoicing · Scheduling · Compare
